Trip Details

Leaving the bustling city of Toronto behind, head down the 401 to Brockville. A great pit stop along the way is Belleville where they dish up incredible ice cream. Also along the way is the historic city of Kingston, known as the “Limestone City” for its grand 19th-century buildings.

Brockville is located near the Saint Lawrence River and lies at the heart of the 1000 Islands region. The region is named for the 1864 islands that straddle Canada and the United States. The best way to experience this famous and stunning area is by boat.

Brockville has a rich history – home to one of Canada’s oldest railway tunnels and Ontario’s first incorporated town. Visit various historic sites or take a walking tour of this idyllic destination.
