Kamloops
Situated at the junction of the North and South Thompson Rivers in the Thompson Valley, Kamloops is the second largest city in the interior of British Columbia with a growing population of 90,000 people.
The desert-like interior boasts wide open grasslands, sagebrush, ponderosa pine forest and sandstone canyons. Located at the crossroads of the Coquihalla Highway, Yellowhead Highway and Trans Canada Highway, Kamloops is easy accessible from every direction.

From April to November the weather is perfect for hiking and biking trails, paddling lakes and rivers, rafting, horseback riding and experiencing local culture. From mid-December to March, go downhill skiing to the nearby ski resorts of Sun Peaks and Harper Mountains or explore winter trails via snowshoe, cross country skis or snow bikes.
The area boasts more than 100 lakes nearby and is a true Mecca for the trout fishermen.
