Located at the northern tip of the Bruce Peninsula,Tobermory is a lakeside town surrounded by crystal clear water, the majestic Niagara Escarpment, and is home to Fathom Five National Marine Park and and Bruce Peninsula National Park. Information about things to do in the Tobermory area is available from the visitor center but we recommend you at least take a glass bottom boat tour to Flowerpot Island and the Shipwrecks of Tobermory.
The Tobermory landscape offers visitors an unparalleled experience. The towering cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment provide a background to some of the most beautiful vistas in nature. The Bruce Trail offers visitors some of the best hiking experiences on the peninsula. Park your RV and head out on one of the hiking trails.
Hike to the Grotto, a natural sea cave carved from ancient limestone filled with azure-blue water of Georgian Bay.
Pack your swimming gear and enjoy a cool dip at Indian Head Cove along the way.
Back in Tobermory, head down to Big Tub Harbour. The picturesque lighthouse here stands proud over a rocky shore, its light still guiding boats through powerful currents to the safety of the harbour beyond. When you're done exploring here, pack up your RV, drive onto the Chi-Cheemaun Ferry and relive the good old days on small-town friendly Manitoulin Island.
