Self-proclaimed as “The Lobster Capital of the World”, the small seaside town of Shediac hosts a festival in July each year promoting its ties to lobster fishing.

The beach here - Parlee Beach that is – is without doubt the main attraction here. Lying within the boundaries of Parlee Beach Provincial Park, its soft golden sand stretches for miles. Some of the warmest salt water in Canada, along with a variety of activities, draws visitors and locals throughout the summer.

There's no shortage of things to do in Shediac. When you're done lying on the beach or enjoying some great lobster, jump in your RV and explore the surrounding areas. Or, book a cruise and learn how to catch, cook and eat lobster.

As a popular tourist resort, Shediac has no shortage of accommodation of every kind. Many RV Parks are located close to Shediac but we recommend you make reservations during the peak summer season.

Lobsters? We've got 'em.  Known for its lobster fishing, processing plants, live lobster tanks and the annual Lobster Festival, Shediac is the best place to crack open and savour a juicy lobster.
